Heinz Michael Vilsmeier in conversation with Michael von der Schulenburg
This book contains an interview conducted in Brussels on 15 September 2025 with Michael von der Schulenburg, as well as an open letter from my interview partner to Pax Christi, in which he discusses, among other things, the stance of the German bishops on achieving the so-called war readiness of the Bundeswehr. My interlocutor served 34 years of his life with the United Nations, including as an Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and as a lead negotiator in peace missions. Today, Michael von der Schulenburg is a Member of the European Parliament and a committed opponent of war.
